Waqas hits century

ISLAMABAD, April 24: Waqas Zafar scored a century as NHA beat CRA by just two runs in the ICA-PTV League Cricket Championship.

NHA hit up 263 for seven off their 50 overs with Waqas cracking a fine 101 and Muhammad Salman scoring 45. Asher Zaidi and Khalid bowled well to take two wickets each.

CRA were powered by a knock of 65 from Asher, Adnan Kashif’s 44 and a 40-run contribution by Aftab Awan. However, their chase fell short and they ended up scoring 261 for nine. The top wicket-taker was Maqsood who claimed three for 37 with Usman Saeed taking two for 34.
