KARACHI, April 15: The outgoing Consul General of Islamic Republic of Iran in Karachi, Mohammad Zaeri Amirani, has said he holds Pakistanis in high esteem.
“I thank all Pakistanis for the profound love they have for me and the Iranian nation,” Mr Amirani said at a farewell dinner hosted by Chairman Pak-Iran Friendship Association and former chief justice, Sajjad Ali Shah, on Monday night.
The dinner was attended by Sindh Minister Imtiaz Shaikh, City Nazim Naimatullah Khan, PML-Q leader Haleem Siddiqui, and secretary general Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf, Mairaj Mohammed Khan.—PPI
