CM to visit Multan on Thursday

MULTAN, April 14: Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi will pay his first visit (as CM) to Multan district on Thursday (the 17th).

Soon after his arrival, he will proceed to the local circuit house where he will meet members of the provincial and national assemblies besides delegations of PML-Q office-bearers, ally parties, industrialists, businessmen and office-bearers of the Multan District Bar Association.

He will preside over a meeting of district coordination officers and district police officers of districts which were the part of former Multan division.

He will also inaugurate the new bus terminal at the general bus stand which has been completed at a cost of Rs85 million by the tehsil municipal administration. The CM will also address a public meeting there.

Thereafter, Pervaiz Elahi will address a public meeting at Naseerpur town of Shujabad after inaugurating wheat harvesting in PP-205. Later, he would proceed to Hayat Khan Wala, another town of Shujabad tehsil.

Before departure, the chief minister will address a press conference at the Multan airport.—APP
