KARACHI, April 14: Consul-General of Switzerland in Karachi, Julius Anderegg, visited the support office of Marie Stopes Society and exchanged views with its Managing Director Dr Mohsina Bilgrami on general reproductive health issues and concerns in Pakistan and in particular the role of the society in this area, says a statement on Monday.

Dr Bilgrami appreciated the role of the government and emphasized upon public-private partnership and mutual cooperation.

The Swiss consul-general recognized and appreciated the society’s efforts and services for reproductive health, especially its initiatives with the youth.

He also highlighted the possibilities of support from the Swiss government.

Mr Anderegg complimented Dr Mohsina Bilgrami and attributed the success of the organization to her leadership qualities and the team’s professionalism and expertise.—APP
