Kuwait Airways resumes flights from Islamabad, Lahore
ISLAMABAD, April 11: Kuwait Airways on Friday announced resumption of its flights from Islamabad on April 28 and from Lahore on April 26 after a temporary suspension due to Iraq war.
The reason for suspension is attributed to commercial reasons as flights routes were altered, which involved overflying, said a Press release here on Friday.
The additional fuel cost combined with poor passenger load was not economically viable to operate during the period.
However, the situation is now returning to normal and the airline is gradually restarting operation from Pakistan.—APP
