KARACHI: Ida Rieu team win

KARACHI, April 11: The cricket team of the Ida Rieu School and College for the Deaf and Blind beat the Karachi Rock Club team by nine wickets and won the two-day All Sindh Blind Cricket Tournament. Waqar of the Ida Rieu School team was declared Man of the Match.

In all, four teams took part in the tournament. In the first match of the round, Ida Rieu beat the Karachi City Association of the Blind team by nine wickets.

In the second match of the first round, the team of the Karachi Rock Club beat the Hyderabad Cricket Association team.

Karachi Naib Nazim Tariq Hassan distributed the prizes to the winners.

Mr Hassan gave Rs5,000 to the winning team and urged the players to further sharpen their skills so that they won many more such contests.
