KARACHI: Water supply to Keamari area within 3 days


KARACHI, April 2: Sindh Education Minister Irfanullah Khan Marwat has said the government is working on different plans for provision of basic facilities to the people of the province, including various uplift schemes and plans to eradicate unemployment and maintain law and order.

He stated this at a public meeting in Mohammadi Colony, Keamari, on Wednesday. The people apprised him of unavailability of potable water in the area.

The minister assured them that the problem would be resolved within three days and added that work would be initiated on an 8-inch diameter water line from his funds. He said other problems of the area would also be solved on a priority basis.

The minister said schools for boys and girls would be set up in the area besides construction of drainage system and roads.—PPI
