AIOU offers MBA, MPA programmes

ISLAMABAD, March 20: Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) in collaboration with an inter-governmental agency created by Commonwealth heads of government, Commonwealth of Learning, Canada, is offering Commonwealth Executive MBA/MPA programmes in Pakistan, says a press release on Thursday.

This international degree programme is also offered by open universities in Bangladesh, India and Sri Lanka.

The executive MBA and MPA programmes are designed to provide high quality professional education to existing and future executives. These international degree programmes being offered in the South Asia in the first instance have several important and unique features. In spite of being an international degree, the fee was kept minimum and affordable.

The learning system adopted in these programmes is highly flexible. The students have the option to complete the programme in their own pace and convenience within two years or five years. Leading professors and experts of Commonwealth universities have developed the learning material for these programmes. The material to be provided to the students is based on indigenous environment of South Asia.
