HAFIZABAD, March 9: The National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) is issuing the computerized identity cards with insertions full of mistakes.
Not only the addresses are being printed wrong but the name of a son/daughter is sometime replaced with the father’s name. The situation becomes embarrassing when one finds his/her gender changed in the computerized identity card.
Some Nadra agents have also misplaced thousands of filled ID card forms along with the fee receipts paid by applicants to Nadra. The delay in the issuance of the computerized identity cards to seekers is also a common complain.
