Media’s help for healthy society sought
MUZAFFARABAD, March 9: AJK Minister for Health, Sardar Mohammad Yaqoob Khan, has stressed upon the print and electronic media to play an active role for the development of a healthy society as only the healthy nations can achieve their national objectives.
He expressed these views at the inaugural session of a media workshop which was held here on Saturday under the aegis of the federal ministry of health in collaboration with the AJK health department.
The objective of the workshop, organized by the health education sector of the ministry, was to build an alliance with both the mediums in order to educate the public on hazards of smoking.
The workshop was last of the series of such events held earlier at three provincial headquarters in Pakistan.
