Polo season from Saturday

RAWALPINDI, March 3: The polo season in Rawalpindi is set to begin from Saturday with the Sardar Ahmed Khan memorial tournament.

The season which will conclude on April 12 will see as many as six events being contested at the Rawalpindi Polo Club including the prestigious President of Turkey Cup.

The Sardar memorial tournament that ends on March 15 will be followed by the Argentine Trophy match on March 16.

The President of Turkey Cup is slated for March 17 to 22 after which the Murree Brewery Cup will take place between March 24 and 29.

From March 31 Remounts Trophy will run till April 3 with the Army Championship/Show Jumping and COAS Cup from April 7 to 12.
