KARACHI, Feb 24: Three ships carrying chemicals and containers are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where four ships, Bunga Masdua and Conti Hong Kong to unload and load containers, Adimon to offload rock phosphate and Al-Cyonida to unload crude oil were berthed after the departure of three.

The ships, which departed included Wan Hai-303, Guang Huaman and Action Progress, while Bunga Masdua, Kota Wirawan, Ben Aicha, Kota Intan, Conti Hong Kong, Al-Cyonida and Effy-N are due to sail out on Tuesday.

KS Cargo handling activity was relatively slow owing to lesser callings made by the bulk carrier and fell to 43,279 tons comprising 7,063 tons of export cargo and 36,216 tons of import tonnage.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Bruce Park, with chemicals, Sima Bahar and APL Cairo, to unload and load containers.
