Musharraf arrives in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 23: President Gen Pervez Musharraf arrived here on Sunday to lead the country at the 13th Non-Aligned Movement Summit.

Senior Malaysian Minister Mayuddin Mohmmad Yasin, officials and Pakistani diplomats received the president.

He will attend the meeting on Monday and Tuesday. Foreign Minister Khurshid Mehmud Kasuri is already here.

En route to Malaysia, the president made a stopover at Bangkok, where he was received by Thai Deputy Prime Minister Dr Purachai. The president is expected to hold talks with Iraqi foreign minister Naji Sabri on the sidelines of the Summit.—APP
