Blast at US chemical plant
WASHINGTON, Jan 29: An explosion at a chemical plant in Kinston, North Carolina, caused a major fire at the factory and in a nearby wood and local media reports said there were casualties.
The explosion was at the West Pharmaceuticals plant in the town, according to an emergency services spokeswoman. —AFP
