Riyadh restricts Haj visa


ISLAMABAD, Jan 17: The pilgrims who had performed Haj on international passports during the past five years could not proceed for the second time, informed Saudi sources said.

In the meanwhile, the Ministry of Religious Affairs has started scrutiny of open Haj applications to check the fake documents. The process will be completed within two days.

Sources said that after the scrutiny valid applications under the Open Haj Scheme will be sent to Saudi Embassy for obtaining visa for Haj 2003.—APP
