Petroleum prices increased


KARACHI, Dec 15: The sub-committee of the Oil Companies Advisory Committee (OCAC) in its meeting held here on Sunday revised upward the maximum ex-depot sale price of petroleum products at 29 designated locations. The revised rates, to be effective from Dec 16, 2002, were declared as:

The relevant sub-committee of OCAC in its meeting reviewed the fortnightly prices of various petroleum products. Based on the average international product prices and applicable government levies, the consumer prices for various products were calculated in accordance with the approved mechanism and announced accordingly.

Meanwhile, the three oil marketing companies — PSO, Shell and Caltex — in separate press releases announced revising upward the price of high speed diesel from Rs20.01/litre to Rs20.22/litre.—APP
