Nazim’s order opposed

By Our Correspondent

SHEIKHUPURA, Nov 29: A large number of commuters, including students, have opposed a district Nazim order, imposing ban on Daewoo buses’ entry in the city jurisdiction.

The protesters alleged that district Nazim Tawakal Virk, in a bid to oblige the local transporters, had ordered that Daewoo buses would run from Railway Station, Lahore, to Bati Chowk, Sheikhupura, a stop 2 km away from the city.

The Nazim’s order is causing inconvenience to those who commute frequently between Lahore and Sheikhupura.
