KARACHI, Nov 3: Chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Altaf Hussain plans to return to the country, after completing some important responsibilities, according to an MQM press release.

The movement told its workers and sympathisers to be mentally prepared for his return.

Altaf Hussain did not spell out when he planned to return but emphasized that it had become imperative for the good of the country and the people.

He said that if he was arrested or got killed after returning, the workers should continue the struggle by following his philosophy.

APPEAL: In a late night development, the Muttahida Qaumi Movement Coordination Committee appealed to Altaf Hussain to reconsider his decision to return home.

The coordination committee members expressed concern over the decision and said it was not acceptable to them.

Earlier, when Mr Hussain had declared his intention to return, his supporters and workers had pleaded with him not to return, in view of the dangers he might encounter.
