PTCL to set up camp at Bisaal

ISLAMABAD, Nov 3: The Pakistan Telecommunication Company, Rawalpindi Region, has offered speedy new connection package for the consumers of Attock, says a press release of the PTCL here on Sunday.

In this connection, it said, a special camp would be set up at Basaal exchange building on Tuesday to provide new connections to the people of Basaal, Thata, Mathial and Domail villages in the Attock district.

The director, telephones, Shah Alam with the divisional engineer, Arsalaan Haider, and SDO Zar Muhammad will be present at the camp and supervise the process, it said.

Potential subscribers would be provided on-the-spot demand notes and upon receipt of necessary documents and paid demand notes, new connections will be provided to them within 24 hours.

It further said to facilitate the customers the PTCL had not only simplified the procedure for obtaining new connections by doing away with a number of formalities but also reduced the installation charges from Rs3,690 to Rs1850 (exclusive 15per cent GST).
