KARACHI, Nov 1: Nine ships carrying containers, general cargo and DAP fertilizer are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources.
Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where all the four new arrivals were berthed: They are: Kota Tegun, Sima Kija and PONL Everest to unload and load containers and Petrolimer to offload palm oil.
Two ships, Chitral and Da Ping Hai departed on Friday, while Bel Grace, Challenger Express, Petrolimer, PONL Everest, Sima Kija and Sinar Bontang are expected to sail out on Saturday.
Berth occupancy at the oil piers was 100 per cent, while it fell to 52 per cent at the dry wharves owing to slow arrivals of foreign vessels.
