PPP meets PML-Q today

ISLAMABAD, Oct 30: The parliamentary party of the People’s Party Parliamentarian is meeting here on Thursday amidst reports of a sharp differences among the party over the question of formation of government with the PML-Q.

PPP President Makhdoom Amin Fahim, according to party sources, was all out for forming future government while a potent group among the party was opposing the idea of sitting on treasury benches.

However the party president enjoyed full support of newly elected members of the PPP from Punjab particularly those returned from rural constituencies.

On a question about the election of parliamentary leader Mr Fahim said that it was non-issue as far as the PPP was concerned.
