PTI urges leaders to evolve consensus

ISLAMABAD, Oct 24: Pakistan Tahreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has said that all the politicians should sit together and evolve a consensus for the success of democratic process.

In an interview with the Voice of America (VoA), he said: “All the democratic forces should join hands to make the (future) assembly successful.”

He said that in this complicated political situation, no one could understand that who would be in power - whether the MMA and PML (QA) or the PPP and PML(Q) or might be a national government to be formed.

Imran Khan stated that all the political parties should strive that the new parliament might start its functions as early as possible.

In reply to a question, he said every parliament had its own dynamics, and it was essential that the parliament would successfully start its functions and made its own decisions.

He vowed to raise voice in the parliament against the ‘status-quo politics’.

“This is a big opportunity for me to speak on those issues which are genuine and have increased poverty and unemployment,” he said.—APP
