KARACHI: Anti-polio drops

KARACHI, Oct 23: Ninety-six thousand children have been given polio vaccination whereas as an estimated 1.5 million children in Gulshan-i-Iqbal Town are yet to be given drops.

According to Nazim Gulshan-i-Iqbal, Abdul Wahab, only 45 people are inflicted with the disease in the country, of which 18 are in Sindh and 3 in Karachi.

He urged the parents to get their children vaccinated against polio during the campaign.

THO Dr. Nusrat has appealed the residents of towns to cooperate with the health department and said in case our teams are unable to reach any house, people should contact the vaccinators on Ph 8145414.—PPI
