KABUL, Oct 22: US troops looking for Al Qaeda and Taliban fighters in Afghanistan were targeted in a single rocket attack on an outpost in southeastern Khost province, a US military spokesman said on Tuesday.
Major Steve Clutter said US special operations forces reported the rocket attack at Chapman airfield on Sunday. The projectile landed west of the base, but there were no casualties or damage.
