KARACHI, Oct 22: The chief controller of buildings, Brig A.S. Nasir (retired), in pursuant to a Sindh High Court order, has formed a three-member committee to act in all such cases in which the court has issued demolition orders.
The committee comprises controller recovery, additional controller (legal) and secretary governor’s inspection team.
A formal demolition plan has been chalked out implementation of which will begin on Saturday. In the first phase, a list of 17 illegal buildings has been prepared.—APP
