KARACHI: Five cars, 27 bikes hijacked in 48 hours

KARACHI, Oct 20: Thirty-two vehicles — five cars and 27 motorcycles — were either hijacked or stolen in the city in the past 48 hours.

Three cars were hijacked. Two others were stolen.

Twelve motorcycles were hijacked. Fifteen others were stolen.

Police also claimed to have recovered 13 vehicles in the past 48 hours in the city.

INJURED: A young man was shot and wounded by his former brother-in-law in Azizabad on Sunday.

Police said that Rashid Hameed, aged 32, was shot at by his former brother-in-law Shaikh Asghar in Azizabad No 2.

Police arrested the suspect and claimed to have recovered three pistols from his possession.
