LARKANA: Bandits snatch judge’s car

LARKANA, Oct 20: Bandits snatched the car of the additional sessions judge, Kandhkot, Ghulam Ali Samtio, near Sultan Samtio village in the jurisdiction of Dokri police station.

The police later picked up some suspects after the car was tracked to Naudgoth village near Wagan town.

Hunter killed: A man, Taj Mohammed Marfani, was shot dead while hunting in the Drigh Lake on Saturday, police said.

The killers escaped, leaving the body behind, which the police recovered after the local people spotted it.

An old enmity had led to the killing, the police opined, adding that they had registered an FIR on the compliant of the deceased’s father against Salih Chandio, Gulzar, Gullo and the others.

SNF: The central committee of the Sindh National Front (SNF) held a meeting here on Sunday, which was presided over by Mumtaz Ali Bhutto.

The meeting took stock of the post-poll scenario, the party’s deputy secretary general, information, Mohammed Ayoub Shar said.
