One killed in D. I. Khan

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Oct 16: One person died and 15 others, including women, received injuries when the vehicle they were travelling in overturned here on Wednesday.

The vehicle, a land rover (RIP-3627), went out of the control of the driver when its tie-rod broke due to overloading, killing Wasaya on the spot and injuring 15 others. The vehicle was carrying 35 people.

The injured were taken to District Headquarters Hospital in Dera Ismail Khan, where two of them, Maryam and  another unidentified lady, were stated to be in a critical condition.
