Footballer killed
CHICAGO, Oct 12: Gray Griffin, a member of the US Youth National Teams programme and a footballer at Furman University in South Carolina, was killed in a road accident Friday, US Soccer said.
Griffin, 18, was killed after his sport utility vehicle overturned and was then hit by a tractor-trailer. The accident occurred at approximately 2:50 am, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.—AFP
