SHIKARPUR: PPP leader denies involvement in violence

By Our Correspondent

SHIKARPUR, Oct 7: The PPP district president, Agha Taimoor Khan, has condemned the propaganda by his rivals against the PPP leaders and candidates that they were involved in violence.

Speaking at a press conference here on Monday, he refuted the allegation of attack by the PPP workers on the SDA activists at the residence of Lala Nadir Khan at Sultankot, during a public meeting of the SDA.

Clarifying his position, Agha Taimoor Khan said he was busy in the election campaign for the last five days and his cousins, who were implicated in the false case, had also gone to Quetta, before the firing incident.

He lashed out at his rivals for resorting to third degree methods to create confusion among the people.
