KARACHI, Oct 2: The provisional merit list for admissions to the Dow Medical college (DMC) and the Sindh Medical Colleges (SMC) in Karachi will be put on display on October 5 at the DMC.

This was stated by chairman of the admission committee for the two public sector medical colleges in Karachi, Prof Illahi Bux Soomro, here on Wednesday.

He said the objections on the provision list could be filed by October 16. Prof Soomro, who is also principal of the DMC, said that the final merit list of the successful candidates would be put on display on October 23.

He said that the classes of the new entrants at the DMC and the SMC are scheduled to commence from November 1.

In all, there are 373 merit seats in the two public sector medical colleges in Karachi. Of these 222 merit seats are at the DMC and 151 seats at SMC. — APP
