KARACHI: Girls school in DHA upgraded

KARACHI, Sept 23: Model Girls School Phase IV has been upgraded to the college level to meet the growing demand of good quality college education.

The DHA has already applied for its registration and affiliation with the authorities concerned.

DHA administrator Brig Asif Ghazali announced this while performing inauguration of the college on Sept 23. The ceremony was attended by a select gathering of DHA staff and a large number of college teachers and students.

The administrator, speaking on the occasion, praised the efforts of all concerned in helping upgrading the college.

He said education is the most significant part of nation building.

Brig (retd) Agha Mazhar Hussain, director for education of the DHA, emphasized that the education system must be rooted in the past, transcend the present and target the future.

Principal Nusrat Osaama Siddique delineated the educational programmes and policies of the college.—APP
