Masood’s detention extended for 90 days

BAHAWALPUR, Sept 16: The Home Department ordered on Monday detention of banned outfit Jaish Muhammad chief Maulana Masood Azhar.

The maulana will be detained for 90 days in his Kausar Colony house which has been declared a sub-jail.

Masood Azhar, facing trial for making a provocative speech, was released after acceptance of his bail application by the Dera Ghazi Khan additional district and sessions judge on Monday.

He is expected to reach Bahawalpur from DG Khan on Tuesday.
