Australia 2/9 favourites to win Ashes
LONDON, Sept 9: Australia, who have held the Ashes since 1989, are 2/9 favourites to win their home series against England this year.
England are 5/1 outsiders in the latest odds from bookmakers William Hill, quoted Monday, after their drawn series against India.
Meanwhile, England captain Nasser Hussain insisted Monday his side were not fearful of taking on world champions Australia later this year despite their appalling record in Ashes contests.—Reuters
