PESHAWAR: Four killed

PESHAWAR, Sept 9: At least four persons were killed and another was injured in the city and its suburb on Sunday.  

Omar Hussain, son of Omar Shehzad, resident of Nothia Payan, was run over by a van when he was going toward Shoba bazaar.

A bicycle rider, Noor Bahar, son of Khewadin, was killed and the pillion rider, Aurangzeb, was injured critically when a speeding bus hit them on GT Road in Gulbahar area.

A passer-by, Aslam, son of Gul Rehman was killed in a cross-fire between rival groups near the shrine of Akhund Darveza Baba. Police sources said Amanullah, son of Baz Mir, resident of Khalilabad, shot dead his elder brother, Subaidar Tehseen, and fled.—Bureau
