KARACHI, Sept 2: Seven ships carrying tallow, crude oil and containers are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where four ships, Swat, Chitral, to unload and load containers, Puma to offload and load general cargo and Gulf Grace to unload gas oil after the sailing of as many.

The ships, which departed included Hyundai Highway, Corrando, Winco Feeder and Ievoli Shine, while BBC Holland, PONL Singapore, Gulf Grace and Kota Waruna are due to sail out on Tuesday.

The berth occupancy at the oil piers was 67 per cent, while it fell to only 19 per cent at the dry wharves owing to slow arrivals of the foreign flag vessels.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Honor River, Bunga Mastiga, Kota Berani, APL Jeddah, Oriental Bright, with containers, Johar with crude oil and Stolt Hawk, with tallow.
