Saqlain claims eight wickets


LONDON, Aug 31: Leaders Surrey were held to a draw by Warwickshire in the four-day English County Championship cricket clash at Edgbaston Friday.

Nick Knight, the England one-day specialist, made 133 as the home county reached 404 after conceding a 199-run lead on the first innings in the division one fixture.

Pakistan off-spinner Saqlain Mushtaq claimed a match haul of eight for 174, including four for 80 in Warwickshire’s second innings.

Saqlain, who was not considered for the current triangular tournament in Nairobi, took 11 for 180 against Hampshire in the previous round of matches.
