ISLAMABAD, Aug 24: Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC) chairman Dr. Badaruddin Soomro has said forest cover is shrinking by 3.1 per cent annually.

He was participating in a tree plantation campaign, organized by the environment ministry in H-9 sector. The campaign has recently been launched by President Gen Pervez Musharraf.
