PESHAWAR, Aug 24: Pakis-tan People’s Party (Sherpao) chairman Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao has vowed to work for the elimination of poverty, unemployment and other problems of the poor.
Speaking at a gathering of people at Azeem village in Bannu, he said that his party would remove sense of deprivation amongst the down-trodden classes. On this occasion former MPA Malik Alamgir Khan announced that he had joined the PPP (Sherpao), and reposed full confidence in the leadership of Sherpao.
Sherpao said that his party would provide real and sincere leadership to the people.
He said there was a vacuum between the government and the masses and pledged that his party would fill this vacuum through able and devoted leadership.
The former chief minister hailed the lifting of the ban on political activities and said it would enable political parties to communicate their message to the masses.
