Seminar held


QUETTA, Aug 23: Law, Justice and Human Rights Minister Khalid Ranjha on Friday inaugurated a seminar on human rights and policing, arranged by Balochistan police and the ministry to educate the police officials about human rights. Speaking on the occasion, Supreme Court Justice Javed Iqbal said that under the new police order the police was given unlimited powers, which had increased the responsibility of the judiciary to maintain check on their functioning.—Staff Correspondent
