KARACHI, Aug 22: At least 19 nomination forms for general and women seats on National and Sindh Assembly were filed in the four districts of Karachi on Thursday, official sources said.

Not a single nomination form was received in district Central of Karachi.

According to details, Dr. Saeeda Malik of Pakistan Muslim League (Quaid-e-Azam) filed nomination papers for reserved seats of women on both National and Sindh assemblies, where as Ms. Perveen Zahid of the same party filed her nomination for Sindh Assembly.

Owais Siddiqui an independent candidate filed his nomination paper from NA-250. Chaudhry Muhammad Anwar of PML (QA) filed his papers from NA-252.

Two candidates, Muhammad Akhtar Shaad, advocate and Amiruddin Mayyo of Mohajir Quomi Movement (Haqiqi) filed their nomination papers for elections in NA-254.

Mrs. Imtiaz Javed of Pakistan Awami Tehrik filed her papers for election from NA-256.—APP
