KARACHI, Aug 21: Opener Fahadullah smashed a rapid unbeaten 202 in Karachi Blues’ 87 runs victory over Dada in Sindh Inter-district cricket championship at Steel Township Ground Tuesday.

Despite defeat Dadu secured a place in the semifinal on better run-rate from group “B” after they were tied on points with Nawabshah and Karachi Blues.

Karachi Blues amassed highest total of the event by scoring 321 for two in 50 overs. Fahad blasted 12 boundaries and seven sixes off 168 balls, after electing to bat first.

Dadu in reply were restricted to 234 for three in their 50 overs with skipper Shahid Qambrani hitting a defiant 140 not out off 163 balls with the aid of 14 hits to the boundary.

Qambrani and Asif Baloch shared a 104 runs for the unfinished fourth wicket.
