Adil’s hat trick spurs Yaseen Star
KARACHI, Aug 20: Layri Brothers, Qadri Baloch, and Asif XI advanced in the second round of Karachi City Jashan-e-Azadi Sports Festival Football Tournament at People’s Sports Complex, says a news release Tuesday.
Layri Brother beat Faisal Sports 6-0. Qadri Sports edged past Colony Sports 5-0, Asif XI beat Kalri Sports 5-3.
In another match Yaseen Star thrashed Navalane 6-1. Abdil Ali smashed the first hat-trick of the event for winner.
At Arambagh Basketball court National Club beat Colts Club 35-34 after a keenly contested tie. Civil Club defeated Saifi Club 35-28 while Crescent Club down Dow Club 46-40.—APP
