KARACHI, Aug 20: Nedlloyd Dameitta scheduled to load/ offload constrainers was allotted berth at Qasim International Containers Terminal (QICT) during the last 24 hours, says a PQA press release on Tuesday.

Six vessels, Great Success, Azure, Nedlloyd Dameitta, Wulan Sari, Al-Maqwa and Bunga Saga-9 were engaged in loading/discharging wheat, container, edible oil, high speed diesel and iron ore.

Two ships, Bunga Saga-9 and Wulan Sari sailed while Great Success and Al Maqwa were expected to depart on Tuesday.

Cargo handling activity remained active where a cargo volume of 47,573 tons comprising 31,638 tons of import cargo and 15,935 tons of export cargo, inclusive of cargo carried in 989 containers, was handled.

Tian Hua Fang, Chem Star and Safemarine Athi were due to take berths at Steel Jetty, Marginal Wharf and QICT on Tuesday.
