Seven Sri Saral children granted bail

RAWALPINDI, Aug 13: The judge of anti-terrorist court, Safdar Hussain Malik, on Tuesday granted bail to seven children, who had been booked during police action in village Sri Saral.

They included Muhammad Ramzan, Muhammad Shahzad, Muhammad Asif, Muhammad Niaz, Muhammad Shaukat, Muhammad Fayaz and Muhammad Zafran. The court granted them bail, giving them the benefit of their ages.

These seven children were among those 25 persons, who were sent on judicial remand by the same court, earlier. The Golra police had arrested them on charges of snatching a gun from the police party and creating law and order situation during the construction work of sector D-12.

The defence council appealed to the court to order am impartial investigation of the incident to save the poor and helpless people from further disgrace. Meanwhile, the additional district and sessions judge, Roy Muhammad Ayub Marth, rejected the bail application of an alleged robber.
