KARACHI: Action against inefficient employees ordered


KARACHI, Aug 11: Sindh Chief Secretary K.B Rind on Sunday directed the health and education departments to take strict disciplinary action against the officials and staff at government hospitals and schools, who were found guilty of dereliction of duties.

“Those found guilty will not be spared”, he said while talking to a team of the Jamaat-i-Ahl-i-Sunnat, Karachi, led by Qari Noorul Islam Shamshi.

He assured the delegation that government would take every possible step to improve working of these departments as it had already taken some decision in this regard.

When the team drew his attention on increasing rate of crime in the city, he said security to public life and property was a the prime duty of law enforcement agencies, and directed the police department to increase patrolling in the city, particularly in the night, and work out an strategy to check the crime.—PPI
