Shaharyar and Riaz claim title
KARACHI, Aug 8: National champion duo of Shaharyar Arshad and Muhammad Riaz Pakistan Navy won the UK Enterprise National Junior Championship at Torquey, according to information received here Thursday.
Shaharyar, a student of IBA and with Riaz not only clinched the UK Nationals for Juniors but also won four other trophies by their excellent performance in sailing.
Shaharyar/Riaz pair also won “Nassau Counch” Trophy, “Yachts and Yachting” Trophy and “Overseas Sailors” Trophy and Need’s the Points Trophy, it said.
President PSAF Rear Admiral Muhammad Haroon has appreciated the performance of young team at International level.—APP
