The bench comprising Justice Zahid Kurban Alavi and Justice Ghulam Rabbani was hearing a constitutional petition filed by Iqbal Qureshi, honorary General Secretary of Meat Merchants Association who challenged the collection of a fee of rupee 2 and 1 against skin of a cow/buffalo and goat/sheep by a contractor of CDGK.
