Old man killed, youth wounded
GILGIT, July 27: An old man was killed and a youth severely injured in the Basin area of the district on Friday.
Amirullah, 70, was coming back to his home after offering the Magrib prayer when some unidentified people opened indiscriminate fire, killing him on the spot.
Meanwhile, Sanaullah was hit in the head with an axe allegedly by Abbas Ali over a petty dispute. The injured was shifted to the DHQ Hospital.—Correspondent
