Arif strikes twice

ISLAMABAD, July 26: A goal in each half earned Ramna Club a 2-0 victory over Al-Faisal in the Independence Day Soccer Tournament at the Pakistan Sports Complex.

Qaiser scored Ramna’s opening goal on the 25th minute while Aqeel doubled that in the second session.

In another match, Islamabad United beat Millat 2-1, thanks to a brace of goals from Arif who put in the first on the 15th minute and netted the winner late in the game. Earlier, Millat’s Jacob had given his side hope by scoring the equaliser on the 28th minute but it was not be their day.
